Cookie Policy

This Site uses a limited number of browser storage technologies. Here is exactly what we use and why.

1. Essential

Always active — these cannot be switched off because they are required for the Site to work.

• PHPSESSID — a technical session cookie set by the server. It protects the booking forms from unauthorised submission (CSRF token). It expires when you close your browser or the session ends.
• Cookie consent preference — stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage, technically not a cookie) under the key emberparlor_cookie_consent. It remembers your choice from the cookie banner so we don't show it on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser storage or change your choice in the cookie settings.

2. Analytics (optional)

Our cookie settings include an "Analytics" toggle. Ember Parlor currently does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts — this toggle exists ahead of time in case we introduce such a tool in the future. If that happens, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again before any such script runs.

3. Third-party resources

The Site loads the Dela Gothic One and Manrope typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). This is not a cookie, but it does mean your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch the font files. Our location link leads to Google Maps, which may set its own cookies once you open it, according to its own policy.

4. Managing your consent

On your first visit you can accept all, reject optional cookies, or customise your choice in the cookie banner. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the site footer.
